One of the new Autumn Winter 2009 yarns to come from Sirdar is Crofter Chunky, which as you can probably guess is a chunky version of the wonderful Crofter DK.
Crofter Chunky comes in six shades (Bracken, Thistle, Hound Dog, Rambler Rose, Loganberry and Misty Moor) - three based on the most popular DK shades, as well as three other shades. The yarn is supported by a book and eight loose patterns (all taken from the book).
It comes in 50g, 78m balls and knits 14 stitches, 19 rows to 10cm on
6.5 mm needles and costs £2.80 per ball.
