At £2.40 for a 100g ball, Seriously Chunky makes a great alternative to other superchunky yarns such as Rowan Big Wool and Sirdar Big Softie.
We met with our Sirdar rep the other day to select the items we will be stocking for Autumn Winter 2011 (although expect to see them late July). I was able to scan some patterns covers that really caught my eye and will probably end up on my project list.
I love to collect old knitting patterns and this is my latest acquisition!
I think it’s from the early 70’s and believe it or not there are a couple of designs in there that wouldn’t look too out of place today! Now I just need to work out which modern yarn I can substitute to knit those trousers…….
