Calico Dk is a very pretty, light and soft cotton blend yarn for summer knitting. It is a standard Dk that knits to all Sirdar patterns. It has an incredible yardage - 158m/172 yds on a 50g ball, so you will not need many balls to knit a garment and it is easy care. At £1.99 for a 50g ball, it is fantastic value.

Debbie Bliss Knitting Magazine Fall Winter 2009 News

We have received some early details of what will be in the Autumn/Winter issue of the Debbie Bliss Knitting Magazine to wet your appetite.

Shipping Cost Changes

Regrettably, due to cost increases from the Royal Mail, we will be increasing the price of shipping UK orders under £10 from £1 to £2. This change will come into effect on Monday 27th April.

Shipping will still be free for UK orders over £10.

New Sirdar Snuggly Kisses DK Patterns

We have just added two new Snuggly Kisses DK patterns to the shop.

First pattern 1855 for two bolero style cardigans for babies and young children up to 6 or 7. The shades shown are 750 Hushed and 755 Patter Pink, which is a new shade for Spring / Summer. The smallest size takes 1 ball and the largest size takes 4.

Pattern 1856 is for two jackets for boys or girls, from babies to young children. One jacket is with a collar, the other with a hood. These patterns use both of the new shades of Snuggly Kisses DK 755 Patter Pink and 756 Twinkle. Twinkle is a Blue colour. The smallest size takes 2 balls and the largest size takes 6.
